Amazing Grace 'My Tribute' [6m16s]
Completed and Released: July 12, 2011. Format: 192Kbps MP3 created with OpenMPT (formerly ModPlug Tracker), utilizing the Garritan Personal Orchestra 4 and various EWQL PLAY libraries. Soprano Recorder performed; all other music was tracked/composed (well, of course except for the short tag ending on Tenor Recorder, also played by christofori).
This version is a performance on soprano recorder. :) There's an intro of 'It Is Well' on the Bösendorfer 290 (with extended lower range) which includes my testimony of recent days including Satan's latest attack on me; then proceeds into the performance. Enjoy!

All music was tracked/composed and NONE of it was played/performed except for the short tag ending on Tenor Recorder, played by christofori.
This one is an instrumental track and arrangement of Amazing Grace; it can serve well as an accompaniment track with 3 stanzas if desired. A couple of days ago my Mom had asked me to work up an arrangement for her and my Dad to use to sing to, as they're attending a family funeral soon and the song had been requested -- so, here you have it. :) The track plays out, building as it goes, on my new favorite piano (an excellently sampled Bösendorfer 290 with extended lower range) and is further enhanced by lush strings, tempered orchestral percussion, a majestic french horn duet, and even my own tenor Recorder. :) Enjoy!

Believe! [4m35s]
Completed and Released: July 16, 2011. Format: 192Kbps MP3 created with OpenMPT (formerly ModPlug Tracker), utilizing the Garritan Personal Orchestra 4 and various EWQL PLAY libraries. All music was tracked/composed and NONE of it was played/performed; sung by christofori.
This one was an entirely inspired (by God...) work -- literally starting with only the piano melody/theme heard throughout, and over time -- building into what it is. Each time I didn't feel 'led' to write something and tried anyway, it ended up being scrapped and replaced by the flow of inspiration that became 'Believe!' -- I wish I could take credit for it all on my own; but as I was merely the tool He used to write this song and message, I must of course obediantly give ALL of the glory for this one to the author: God. :D This ended up being somewhat of a fusion between Jazz, Pop, and Rock with some 'techno-electronica synth-like' elements; seasoned with light strings and percussion; with a poignant message and my own statement of belief. The song is full of symbolism and auditory clues/references to many spiritually significant things; I didn't even realize many of them until the song was completed (He had to show me..!) God is great! :D Another killer guitar solo in this one as well as more chordal vocal harmonies (more like 'Muse' than 'Queen' but you likely get the idea).. This song incorporates the best things people have liked/commented on about any of my other tracks, but in a very cool (not busy-for-the-sake-of-being-busy typical christo) manner! My 'mastering' ear has improved a lot but I still have no idea what I'm doing there (trusting God to help -- and this song should easilly be evidence of marked improvement there!) I'll stop typing so you can stop reading and start listening. :D

All music was tracked/composed and NONE of it was played/performed; sung by christofori.
This one's my final (probably... at least for a while...) song. Codenamed "the catalyst," this song's been in development for a long time; the basis for the chorus was written YEARS ago -- and i'm quite humbled to hear it put together into one piece! The song's a techno/electronic pop-like song with a couple of poignant points to be made. The statement near the beginning that claims: "for as appearances go, it sure seems to deceive...!" has multiple meanings; one of which could actually apply to my own life, calling myself a "christian" while being a hypocrite for much of my life. Anyway, the song's a peppy and energetic tune with a great message -- and i also think of it as a "battle song" for people everywhere. So -- care to join me in playing 'the Selfless game...?' :D

Here's my second song! This one was written during a time of change and transition for Mike Neff, currently the Music Minister for the First Baptist Church in Lawton, OK -- who up until the end of May this year, was our music minister here! Since the text/idea for this song was all about change I couldn't deny the connection God was showing me between this work and Mike's life. So, I dedicate this song to Mike and his family, and wish them well as they continue serving the Lord with such enthusiasm!
Oh.. almost forgot to talk about the track! I'll (for a change... pun intended..!) let the track speak for itself -- EXCEPT for this one teaser: KILLER ELECTRIC GUITAR SOLO..! You need to check it out! Quite amazing considering it's entirely tracked (I did not play any instrument in the creation of this song)!

Released: Mar 29, 2011. Format: 192Kbps MP3 created with OpenMPT (formerly ModPlug Tracker). Synth solo (during bridge) performed; all vocals recorded by christofori.
Here's my FIRST SONG! Yep... words! I'm singing. :) This one was a theme God gave me a long time back and (fortunately) He saw enough patience in me to allow me time to finish this! Began serious composition and writing during my spare time in November 2010... and after literally months in-the-works, here's the latest from christofori!
At long last, I'm living the life God wants me to, and doing the things He wants me to do. This is a message told through my life in a way; but it applies to us all. While it is Christian oriented it's not 'preachy' by any means! Fans of old will find something to like about it for sure! It's definately 'Christo-esque' in sound; though I took (GREAT..?!) pains NOT to make this an overly 'busy' song. Check it out! :)

FutureProof (choon) [5m41s]
Completed and Released: February 29, 2016. Format: 192Kbps MP3 created with OpenMPT (formerly ModPlug Tracker), utilizing the Yellow Tools' TITAN library (via Engine), and various EWQL PLAY libraries. All music was tracked/composed and NONE of it was played/performed.
This choon (or tune -- what i call a song without words...) is an instrumental/rock composition consisting of the Bösendorfer 290 piano, drums and other assorted percussion, bass, MANY synths, and a Les Paul Deluxe lead guitar from EWQL's Ministry of Rock library, as well as Irish instruments (a low whistle as well as frame drums -- which are similar to the Irish Bodhrán) featured in the introduction. Oh, yes... lest i forget, there are also a couple of "Oooh's" and "Ahhh's" in there too; courtesy of my EWQL Symphonic Choirs. :) The Bösendorfer piano is used considerably less than in most of my other tracks -- serving merely in a few key transitional moments in this choon.
The theme of this one's meant to focus upon faith/hope and optimism, as opposed to the more common "fight or flight" mode and pessimism which seems to be driving much of the "world" (at least, so it seems). For many, the future brings a sense of dread; people seem to be afraid of the unknown, and seem to worry about things beyond their control. The inverse of this kind of mindset would be to see the future as full of wonder and possibility; and to keep one's focus and thoughts (mindset) centered upon the "here and now," where it belongs. :)
So that -- and to go along with the artwork for this choon -- we might be able to "shed" the "garments of fear" and step boldly into the future (regardless of what it may or may not hold in store!), with optimism and wonder, faith, and hope. :)
While i've never done this before, i think it appropriate to link to an external article, which explains this theme/concept quite a bit better: "Fight or Flight" (fear) vs. "Rest and Digest" (peace), Love thy neighbour, Optimism/Faith (courtesy of the site AboveTopSecret.com). Note that i have created a PDF version of the article available here in case the article linked is nonfunctional or otherwise unavailable. Note that to save the PDF file you might have to right-click and select "Save..". ;)

This choon (or tune -- what i call a song without words...) is all about "that soft, still voice within" your heart -- the voice of intuition, or the (Holy) Spirit (of Truth). Each and every one of us has this connection to the Divine nature of the Father (God) within us; many see it as the voice of their conscience.
This song... well, the lyrics for it, i truly feel, should come from YOU rather than from me. For a LONG TIME i battled and fought with my own spirit on this matter; but in the end (of course!) He won! i had tried and tried to work some guidance and/or suggestions for a generally wide audience, so as to assist the listener in their journey through the song lyric ideas i came up with -- but as everyone is unique, each person must come to a place of questioning everything they've been taught in order to discover their soul's truth; so, what i could write would be endless (far too much information for one short song..!). Besides, who am i to educate you, when you (your higher self) knows you intimately better than anyone else EVER could..?
Musically speaking, the theme and content of the composition are meant to inspire the listener to realize these truths about themselves, by using a myriad of different effects and instruments to create a blend of a genre i think of as being called "Symphonic Trip-Hop." Because of the style of this choon, the listener's lyrics could be sung, spoken, or rapped. i again use my favorite Bösendorfer piano for the main aspects of the theme; combined in a setting with a DJ-like rhythm section and a bass; layered with different synths. The effects used were essentially chosen because of their "ethereal" or "otherworldly" sound. Also, rather than using a guitar for the solo, i picked a rather unusual instrument -- the Hurdy Gurdy! (Instrument samples for which may be FREELY downloaded from my samples & instruments page.) Enjoy! :D

This was a project I did for inclusion in a local ministry's animated christmas light display, which I'm also designing/programming. This version should be considered the 'final/complete/remastered' version and is far richer than the 2004 version (which in comparison sounds pretty much like it was made using MIDI or something). Enjoy!

Pandora's Box [6m39s]

All music was tracked/composed and NONE of it was played/performed; sung by christofori.
... wow! What to say about this one... Well for starters this is (of course) the THIRD release of this tune.. er, SONG now! The two previous (instrumental only) are/have been available on my music page. At the time the first was written, i happened to be a member of a tracking group called Funky Brains (think of tracking groups like a crew, or perhaps a 'label' for a group of trackers). They wondered why i hadn't included ole' "PB" in the FB releases (maybe thinking i didn't like the group all the sudden..? i'm not sure...) -- but i hadn't included it because the song was for some reason, something very special and even somehow extremely personal about it... it was really as though a moment in life had been captured in extremely meticulous detail and put into my head, when the song's melody came up in my head (back in 2003, mind you). And by "a moment in life" i mean all life on the planet. Heh.. it didn't seem so at the time, i couldn't have described it.. only emotions can convey the feelings of that day (mostly, feelings of warmth, compassion; all the forms of love... to name a few..!) So, i tracked it fiendishly (it was the first song written in my now studio/room after moving home after getting finished with University, where all other previous tunes had been made) until finished. i had wanted to start writing more songs like "Cue Ball" for the Funky Brains group; and it almost felt as if this one was a 'goodbye' to writing solo (without any other influences in/around life over my musical creative senses/ears).
Well, it also made me feel bad that they felt as they did... so then the second PB was done and released. It added some new sections/feels to the tune (it cooincidentally began with a new bells-riff, now heard right as Pandora opens the box in the dialog) and bore the "Funky Brains" tag with pride (i after all REALLY liked the feel with those changes added..!) At about the time "the band" years took place (roughly 2004ish until July of 2010) there were no releases from me outside of some 'peeks' into the band's creative moments via video blogs, perhaps -- with the exception of "Triumph" in 2007, the original 'O Come' in 2004, and a few other "FB" releases done in the months following "Pandora's Box (FB Mix)."
Then of course, you have today -- Friday the 13th of April, 2012. Earlier this week i finished converting ALL instruments (and, having to re-track all the dynamics, effects and whatnot, some compositional changes to existing parts naturally took place as well), and adding the new stuff... realizing then that i had to write lyrics and the solo guitar part for it, and it would be done. Thinking releases normally take place on Tuesday (which happens to be the day i decided to pick/announce a release date before the song was done) and/or Friday, i scanned the calendar ahead and noticed the coming Friday was the 13th. In 2012. Heh.. i HAD to pick it... it left a few days to finish work on the song and all related materials for it. The lyrics came together fairly quickly within a few hours one evening, and the subsequent completion and pseudo-mastering work (i say pseudo because i [a] like the word, and [b] am only self/ear-trained.. figuring stuff out as it's given me [inspirations, thank you Father!] and/or playing with software/sound settings/whatnot) was also done. After it all -- i can tell you that i've made a leap in understanding/manipulating sounds -- and the mix sounds really very good compared to my other 'New Path' releases, in my mind if only there.. LOL.
Then, here it is Friday the 13th -- and the song is posted. ENJOY! :)
(coming next/soon -- a video for PB; should/will include syncronized [run by computer, as is everything i've created musically-speaking] light show of the 'ole rig. First music video. Oughtta be neat. :)

This choon (or tune -- what i call a song without words...) is an instrumental/pop composition consisting of the Bösendorfer 290 piano, drums, bass, and synths. That's IT with this one -- it's far simpler than many of my previous releases; yet is also kind of like a fugue. :)
This choon, during development, was called "perspectives" and is meant to portray the concept of many different voices/viewpoints coming together to work in harmony... and to work together "like a dream." ;)

This is a dance and another SynthPop tune, featuring a melody which I've had in my head for some time. I've written this tune in part because I know a lot of people are having some difficulty with inspiration, and motivation (when it comes to tracking and reviewing other tracks, etc). I myself let part of this tune sit for days on end because I didn't feel motivated enough to finish it. However, at long last (and about a month off from serious tracking), I've finished this tune! This is another OHC tune made somewhat recently. It sounds almost menacing (when the melody comes in) and reminds me of the music from some sort of hard "Boss-level" in old Nintendo games. This is definately one I want to refine and release at some point.

This is a short little tune based on the concept of a Jazz "Head-Tune." A Head Tune is basically a chord progression, sometimes with a melody as an exposition, which jazzers will solo over. At the end of the chart, after everyone's taken their own solo, they then all play solos at the same time. This turned out to be rather interesting work for me, and I had some fun making it. You may notice that it sounds as though it were done on a synth (or just MIDI even); this is due to my using GM samples in the tracker. Enjoy!

Pandora's Box [4m12s]
Released: September 15, 2002. Format: 54-Channel IT Created with ModPlug Tracker.
This is somewhat of a departure from my previous works. It is a fantasy/synthpop song which attempts to tell the story of the Greek myth by the same name. The underlying theme of this tune is hope -- which, really, is about the only thing that will get us all through the tough times which are due to come. I tried to create a smooth and lyric melody, while keeping it very light and playful; but, at the same time, the idea of hope is always present, as somewhat of an undercurrent throughout the piece. This tune was inspired mainly by the sound of some of Crusader's works (namely 'The Road to Nowhere'). Note: Please play this tune in ModPlug Player with the Max Polyphony set to at least 96 (if possible). Also, once the song starts, hit the 'Info' button for a (mostly) synchronized story.

S.S. Modula One [6m01s] -=(RetRo!)=-MP3
Released: February 17, 2002. Format: 40-Channel IT Created with ModPlug Tracker.
This tune is one I made to be entered into the SynthPop Compo over at Mod Archive, where this tune tied at Fourth place. It's a Fantasy/SynthPop style tune based on an ill-fated space ship called the "S.S. Modula One." Let's just say that the crew on this ship has their work cut out for them! (Also uses DarkHalo's piano, as well as other borrowed samples listed in the comments)

S.S. Modula Two [5m28s] -=(RetRo!)=-MP3
Released: March 3, 2002. Format: 44-Channel IT Created with ModPlug Tracker.
This one continues the "story" from Modula One. It is also a Fantasy/SynthPop style "space" tune. The S.S. Modula Two is virtually identical to the Modula One (as they are sister ships); however, Modula One was launched early to meet a ferrying deadline, whereas Modula Two is better equipped to handle the perils of space travel. There is a more complete story in the credits of this one; in ModPlug Player, just hit "info" once the song has just started, and read along. So far, the Modula series is purposely left "open-ended" for continuation. Also, you may have noticed by now that I've fallen in love with DarkHalo's piano sample! What can I say? It's truly wonderful for melodies, especially in the mid-to-high range.

S.S. Modula Three [5m43s]
Released: February 1, 2004. Format: 52-Channel IT Created with ModPlug Tracker.
This one completes the story and finally answers the question: "Just what happened to Modula One?" It's a SynthPop tune (with an almost jungle-like undercurrent) that has many similar elements to tie it into the Modula Series fairly well. Be sure to check out the MP3 version of this tune, as it is sampled at a much higher rate (the sounds and instruments used are of better qualities).

S.S. Modula Three [5m43s]
Released: February 1, 2004. Format: 192 kbit/s 44kHz Stereo MP3 Created with ModPlug Tracker.
This one completes the story and finally answers the question: "Just what happened to Modula One?" It's a SynthPop tune (with an almost jungle-like undercurrent) that has many similar elements to tie it into the Modula Series fairly well. This version of the song is of superior quality compared to the .IT version, and it more accurately conveys the overall tone of the song.

Technicolor Combustion [5m10s] -=(RetRo!)=-MP3
Released: February 11, 2002. Format: 50-Channel IT Created with ModPlug Tracker.
Here you have a classic example of one of my more "busy" tunes. This one's got a lot going for it, and is still one of my favorites. It's a SynthPop/Jungle mix based on a melody I've had swimming around my brain for a while. This tune placed First in the
Complete MOD Compo for April, 2002.

ThunderHawk Command [2m35s] -=(RetRo!)=-MP3
Released: June 13, 2001. Format: 16-Channel IT Created with ModPlug Tracker.
This is a re-mastered version of my very first track. It's best classified as Experimental/Fantasy, and it depicts the events in the life of new recruits to ThunderHawk Command. There's always a lot of hard work in each day that goes by, but there's still room for some fun to be had, as well.

ThunderHawk Command 2: "The Alert" [2m34s] -=(RetRo!)=-MP3
Released: June 17, 2001. Format: 24-Channel IT Created with ModPlug Tracker.
This is the second in the "Command" trilogy. Classified as SynthPop/Demo, this one depicts a call to action for the ThunderHawks. Follow along as they are called into an epic battle of massive proportions! What will happen to our brave heroes?

ThunderHawk Command 3: "Painful Duty/Vengeance."[4m16s] -=(RetRo!)=-MP3
Released: June 22, 2001. Format: 36-Channel IT Created with ModPlug Tracker.
This one has been completely redone from it's original form; as with it's other two siblings, it has been massively re-mastered and edited using newer and better samples. However, this one's also been completely re-worked, and sounds quite a bit different from the original, which was never actually finished. In this, also a SynthPop/Demo tune, the ThunderHawks have suffered a rather devastating blow, and must mourn the loss of their best warriors. However, there is not much time to spend in mourning, as the enemy's troops continue to mass on the horizon. The ThunderHawks return in a blazing fury of might and power to overcome the forces of evil.

The Time to Choose [1m55s]
Released March 31, 2002. Format: 24-Channel IT Created with ModPlug Tracker.
This is my first ever OHC tune. As you will be able to tell, I need a bit more practice at "speed tracking" -- but, this will at least give you the idea. It's a nice tune that I may one day work more on. The instruments used in this sample pack were pretty basic, and I will replace them with better sounding ones when I officially release this tune. I can best describe this tune as a more experimental one, it kind of sounds a bit spooky.

Voltronic Revolution [4m57s] -=(RetRo!)=-MP3
Released: February 19, 2002. Format: 40-Channel IT Created with ModPlug Tracker.
This one is a SynthPop tune based on the theme from the original Voltron cartoon show. The actual theme is quoted a few times (starting at the very beginning), and then I've improvised on it a bit to come up with the rest of the tune. (This one's also got DarkHalo's Piano!)
There have been 38,179 hits from all songs.
